We learned this morning from our friends and partners at Aurora Water that a closure of at least eight weeks is necessary to work on a pipeline on our Sand Creek Greenway between Chambers and Airport Roads.
This closure is expected to begin “mid April” and Aurora Water requests that trail users look for and respect closure signs as there will be hazards on trail. We will post–as soon as we know–the actual closure dates, as many trail users rely on our Greenway as a safe transportation route and an important recreational resource.
